This dark purple gose is tart and dry, with citrus aromas from hops and coriander, and a fruity/spicy/earthy quality from a healthy dose of black currant juice. It's a 40% wheat mash, Lactobacillus kettle sour, with freshly crushed organic coriander, black currant juice, and Himalayan pink salt (and a smidgen of hops). The result is practically sublime -- beautiful, unique, and refreshing!

Picked up at the brewery. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy dark purple red hue with a one finger fuchsia head that fades to leave light wisps and nice lacing.
S - Aromas of big lemons and creamy wheat. Nice tartness, light coriander. The black currant notes are really really subtle.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with excellent lemons and creamy wheat. Good tartness, some very light red berry notes. The currants are pleasant but subtle.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body is decent.
O - Overall this was a rather solid beer, the base was excellent.

THanks to rudzud
Huge purple pinkish fluffy creamy 1 finger head that retains for a while, sticky lacing too, super dark black currant / boisenberry purple red color, super dark.
Nose starts with creamy wheat lactic acid little funky and creamy, tart black currant but not a lot, berry, little sour like, plenty of lemon and tart lemonade, currant is too light though
Taste again loads of creamy wheat and lacto creamy funk, almost like there is cream in there, lactic acid, quite tart, lemony, sour berry with a bit of black currant, more than the nose but still wish there was a bit more, fluffy creamy wheat, little acidic and slight sweet drier flemmy acidic finish, touch of bitter fruit seed and skin tannins, and a little berry lingering with the tart lemon, little salty on the back end especially
Mouth is med bod, little rich but very creamy and fluffy, decent fluffy carb, fair tart flemmy with nice acidity
Overall pretty nice base beer, gose is good, black currant is a bit on the light side, good tartness, great creamy wheat and lacto, nice acidity, just lacking currant although I can't fault them too much as that can go overboard really quickly.
