Picked up a bottle of this at the brewery. This was a special batch done in honor of the Worcester Beer Week and is their regular ConSession IPA with an additional dry hopping of Comet.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a crystal clear golden hue with a big three finger head that fades slowly to leave loads of sticky side lacing and a dense creamy blanket.

S - Aromas of grassy, floral hops with a little bit of dankness. Gone are the melon and stonefruit notes from the regular ConSession. There are some light bubblegum and tea aromas. The grapefruit/citrus notes are rather subdued as well. Flashes of malts as well. Not nearly as aromatic as the regular Consession.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Rather big bitter grapefruit (minus most of the grapefruit), loads of grassy and floral hops. Not much citrus pop. There are flashes of melon going on, but for the most part this is just really, really bitter throughout the flavour profile.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, a little fluffy.

O - Overall this was a disappointing beer. The beer itself is fine, albeit super bitter, the problem for me stems from what the beer used to be before being dry hopped. The Comet completely overwhelmed the incredibly bright and unique melon and citrus notes. Under another name this would be higher, but as it stands the base beer is simply overpowered too much. Instead of a unique citrus and melon bomb this drinks more like a lighter Stone Ruination.
