Draft at brew pub
Big pillowy dense rocky head, great retention and lacing, fair hazy medium golden tan color
Nose doughy wheat, cracker notes, bread dough, grainy but not like pilsner grain, very light floral hop, faint fruity note, honey cake, gets a bit spicy between rye and hops
Taste a bit of floral herbal hop with light to medium bitterness out front, mild sweet doughy wheat, wheat cracker and biscuity, a bit of floral honey, it has that flowery honey finish I get from my wildflower meads, a touch of fruity character following the honey but I can't label the fruit, honey cake and batter, little spicy rye note late. Drier finish, little lingering hop bitterness but mild
Mouth is medium to lighter bod, but soft creamy wheat like, medium high carb
Overall very good, a delicious sessionable American wheat, not a ton a fruit but totally ok in American version, good hop balance with nice wheat, and the honey adds a really nice character
