Draft at the brewery
Big pillowy creamy dense head great retention, soapy lacing, very hazy almost opaque orange color
Nose brings plenty of gose out front, tart lemony doughy, lime, hint of salt, with light cucumber, juicy citrus, cucumber juice
Taste brings more of the same but bigger cucumber, again tart lemon lime juicy citrus, light doughy malt, touch biscuity, light salt in the background with nice cucumber juicy up front, dry like cucumber but not gritty, quite tart with nice lactic acid and even a little grapefruit like flavor but not over sour, a little flemmy on the finish and acidic, but dry bready cracker like typical gose, balanced to the gose side with light but noticeable cucumber
Mouth is med to lighter bod, medium to lighter carb, good bright acidity with a little flemmy finish
Overall quite nice, thankfully doesn't get overpowering cucumber but at the same time you can tell it's there, nice tartness and salt levels, although the finish might be a little flemmy for my taste it's within style

Picked up a can of this at the brewery.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy, murky almost brownish golden hue with a fat two finger white head that fades really slowly to leave great lacing and retention. If the color didn't have that almost grayish tint to it this would be a solid 5.
S - Aromas of big creamy wheat, lemons, excellent coriander, little bit of salinity. I'm struggling to get any cucumber aroma whatsoever though, which is a shame as the base gose is just spot on.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of creamy wheat and bright lemon. The coriander is still there but finally I get some cucumber. Bright and crisp almost melon like cucumber flavour before becoming a little tart. The finish has a fair amount of salinity which is even more noticeable when you lick your lips after taking a sip.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean, refreshing. Spot on for the style.
O - Overall this was a very enjoyable summer time Gose courtesy of Dave at Flying Dreams. His base beer is great as always I do just wish there was more cucumber on the nose and maybe a touch less salt on the finish. Other that that this is a very enjoyable beer.
