So you went there Dave... A NEIPA, and with Mosaic... let's see. NO can date
Pours a med frothy foamy 1 finger head with moderate retention, a bit of spotty lacing, very hazy deep to dark orange tan color
Nose starts super juicy and tropical, citrus, orange juice, mango, guava, papaya, grapefruit, melon notes, but then quickly fades to the mild dank oniony mosaic, a bit of malt sweetness
Taste brings more of the same, big tropical and citrus up front, juicy, guava and papaya, into some melon and nectarine, some orange citrus, a bit pithy, but then that turns to dank oniony mosaic again, even Dave can't get Mosaic to play nice, creamy doughy soft malt, more melon on the back end as well as some stone fruit, no minerals, a touch of bitterness on the finish, as it warms fair grapefruit comes through
Mouth is med bod, soft juicy creamy, not chalky at all, med foamy carb
Overall this could have been a great beer if it wasn't for the dank oniony mosaic, the minerals were done well, malt profile is nice, juicy fruits were nice, but in the end falls short.
