Draft at the tap room
Big creamy thick head, great retention and soapy lacing, hazy med orange wheat color
Nose has that interesting funky farmhousey Kveik yeast, lots of citrus and fruit hops, tangerine, little grapefruit and melon, little candied pineapple and tropical notes, getting a bit of spice and pine, sweet candy malts with honey and creamy flaked proteins
Taste brings hops out front, some pine and musty notes, then citrus, grapefruit zest, lemon and tangerine citrus, a bit of pith, a little tropical, candied pineapple, papaya, little melon, sweet malt with a bit candy like, lots of flaked proteins, creamy doughy, little pilsner cereal grain, light funky yeast but mostly clean and dry, med bitterness throughout, dry finish a little sticky, dry mild funky Kveik, lots of candied citrus lingering, some grapefruit zest lingering as well
Mouth is med bod, quite creamy soft, med to a little lighter creamy small bubble carb, alcohol hidden well
Overall interesting ipa, West Coast style base with some NEIPA creamy flaked proteins and soft juicy hops, drinkable, and fun Kveik yeast notes
