Draft at brewery
Big frothy creamy 1.5 finger head with great retention, tons of soapy lacing, brilliantly clear tan golden colour
Nose big hops, candied citrus, dried apricots and stone fruit, light dank musty resin, generic tropical fruit, fair sweet malt, pine resin
Taste fair sweet malts up front, little grainy and a hint of honey, big hops again, citrus up front, sweet candied like orange marmalade, citrus zest and oil, little tropical and grapefruit pith, quite pithy, more dried stone fruit, touch of perfumey alcohol, med bitterness up front then getting to a higher bitterness late, sticky semi sweet med dry finish with flash more alcohol, little resin, pine, and spicy hops. As it warms a little kiwi fruit and tart white grape note
Mouth is med to fuller bod, light warming alcohol, med frothy carb
Overall not bad, good dipa old school, hops bring a lot, plenty of malt to support it and bring its own mild character, I think the Kveik yeast adds some of the other unique fruit flavors.
