16 ounce can poured into a dimpled mug.
Canned 8/10/21
Pouring amber and very clear it is topped with a solid inch of creamy off-white foam. The head is lasting and leaves lace.
The nose is moderate in strength and leads with sweet bread immediately after the pour. As the head settles toasted grain and light spicy hop aromas take over with a cracked corn note coming as the mug warms. Taste is malt forward, mildly sweet and mimics the nose, toasted grain, spicy hop and corn. The finish is more dry and lightly bitter with floral/fruity hop flavor. As it warms the corn flavor becomes more prominent. The carbonation is medium, just enough to give crisp edges to the smooth and creamy medium weight body.
Overall, drinkable and enjoyable but the corn flavor is too much.
