On draught, a decent head initially, no lacing.
Malty caramel sweetness, espresso, vanilla, molasses hints. Faint bitterness on the finish is accompanied with a slightly tangy note.

Dark brown pour with a big, frothy tan head. Aroma is bitter, roasty coffee, hints of milk chocolate and lots of roast. Flavor follows with a nice roasty flavor balanced out by Coffee and bitter chocolate. Feel is frothy, medium bodied with medium carbonation. This is a solid, drinkable stout.

Poured from the crowler into a nonic pint glass.
Very dark nearly black with an opaque dark walnut brown body color and no hue. No light from the head, but a cascading and small yet very dark tan color and tight bubbled head. Settles to a small collar from a slightly taller than one finger, very dark with an almost milk chocolate color. Very nice looking stout.
Very solid roast character. Dark and rich with excellent coffee bean character, nearly ripping but also with a touch of milk sweetness. Hits with no acidity from the bean which gives nice simple coffee flavor but with minimal accents.
Palate hits with excellent coffee accents and flavor. Light but rich bodied roast mixing with a very nice hop bitterness in the mid palate. Hits in the finish with a nice roast coffee and char note that lingers long.
Real nice solid coffee stout and very well done.

Strong coffee presence in both the nose and taste. Was a little too burnt and slightly ashy to me. Also some bitter in the finish which wasn't quite up to my liking in a coffee stout. Would prefer a little more chocolate sweet balance to it.

Very impressed with this beer. Great mouthfeel. Top 10 best coffee stouts I've ever had. Not quite as good as Tree House' Double Shot because the coffee is a little burnt but otherwise an excellent beer.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon.
Big coffee aroma against a light roasty chocolate stout base. Medium body with a silky mouthfeel. Nice coffee beer.
