Poured from the crowler into an IPA Spiegelau glass. Listed as a NE IPA on the crowler. So.. it's a thing now.
Turbid lemon body color, with a solid frozen appearance. Head is creamy white, and bright stretching maybe close to three fingers but a mix of soap and creamy retention makes it about only two fingers in height. Quite a bit soapy collar, and small top.
Aroma goes for classic pineapple and sharp pine like dank qualities. Screams mosaic I would take a guess, but with excellent sharp fronted hop aromas. Hits with some slight herbal and pine qualities too, and very little sensing sweet malt presence.
Palate manages to be pretty aggressive and not fooling around. Excellent bitter hop presence, with punches of lime to pineapple in the front of the palate. Juicy and creamy body with great tropical fruit flavors. Finish is particularly pleasant, with excellent sharp pine and herbal punch that leaves with a grassy like sting and bitterness that lingers and is very enjoyable. Very good choice of different hop characters going on here.
Pretty solid fun brew, and isn't some orange juice sweet bomb for once, and actually presents an IPA with some true bitterness. Very nicely done here.
