On tap:
Clear, near crystal hay-golden, with a nice white cap and extensive lacing.
Nose is that of an unripe honeydew, perhaps a little cucumber wateriness that is driving the “unripe.” The more I sniff, the more I think it’s a bit floral - not powerfully so.
Taste continues the melon (honeydew/cantaloupe) impression, with the dryness skewing things quite a bit. The light barley is noted in a slightly raw mouthfeel. There’s a bit of an earthiness in back as the beer dries - maybe a bit like very hard, minerally water.
The beer is missing a bit of excitement from carbonation to liven the feel from the dry nature of the beer. The flavors are a bit weak, but the beer is quite clean - not the best tradeoff.
