Bottle label info: "Ale brewed with tangerine peel, vanilla beans, honey and spices".
Dirty orange colored body; cloudy; thick, foam, sculpted head. Big fruity, spicy aroma; citrus; cinnamon, allspice; anise. Mild malt backbone; touch of cocoa; bitter; mild alcohol edge. Medium-heavy body; somewhat fizzy; mostly dry finish.
All in all, a decent winter ale, the high point being the holiday spice and lemon-like citrus aroma. The mouthfeel seems mealy on the tongue and rather weak for the style (somewhat over-carbonated) while the flavors are fairly solid with a respectable malt base. A bit uneven across the board, but flavorful and drinkable.
