Bottle label notes: WET HOPPED WITH ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CASCADE HOPS FROM FRONT RANGE ORGANIC HOPS
Cloudy, yellow body; very thick, chunky, white head; streaks of yeast left on the glass as the head drops down the glass. Citrus and fruit hop aroma; pine notes. Zesty, bitter flavor; grassy and spicy; some alcohol notes. Medium-heavy in body; dry sweetness on the tongue.
A strong, bitter IPA that, not surprisingly, is a little bit one-dimensional. The cloudiness is probably due to bottle conditioning and also seems to have a yeast-like bite in the overall flavor. In fact, the aftertaste is a bit too phenolic in character, a hard-to-ignore quality that greatly subtracts from enjoying the beer. Drinkable but with some issues.
