Bottle label data: ALE AGED ON TOASTED OAK CHIPS
Murky dark orange/brown body; very thick, creamy, dense head. Deep caramel aroma laced with notes of cocoa; raisins and dates; brown sugar; woody. Boozy, dark fruit flavors. Smooth mouthfeel with an alcohol burn; mostly dry finish.
A tasty yet boozy beer. It has a decent malt richness but lacks some depth and balance with the alcohol presence in the taste and mouthfeel.
