Dark body; thin, tan head. Mocha aroma; vanilla. Vanilla and honey flavors; charred, roasted grain notes; nice finishing bitterness. Heavy body; rich and smooth on the palate; softly sweet finish.
This is a rich, potent beer. Honey and molasses add a warm, velvety texture and gentle sweetness to things and do a fine job of masquerading the high ABV. Dense and complex with an excellent balance of malt and adjunct sweetness to counterbalance the bold alcohol content. Nicely done!!!
