Bottle label info: Strong stout brewed with cacao nib and satsuma, navel, tangelo and cara cara oranges
Jet black body; thick, creamy, tan head. Sweet orange and dark chocolate aroma. Roasted and charred grain flavors infused with a well-balanced fruity, citrus flavor. Heavy body yet not-handed; smooth and slick; fairly dry finish.
This is one of the finest stouts I've had in a long time. The variety of oranges make for a unique yet surprisingly complementary aspect to the rich, roasted grains. There is really no direct taste evidence for the high alcohol content either. Balance, depth, complexity -- all the usual superlatives for a well-done beer rightly describe this beer. Get it while you can...
