Deep, hazy orange body topped with a thick, sticky, white head. The smell presents a caramel malt backbone with a fruit scent like old oranges and peaches. Heavy sweetness to the flavor; pretty bitter; also has the hard-to-describe overripe citrus fruit character; some boozy qualities. Heavy body; coarse; tickles the palate; lots of residual sugar sweetness yet finishes mostly dry.
Not bad yet also rather boring. The beer just doesn't gel for being "continuously hopped" (whatever that means along with "triple IPA". It's a rough and young tasting IPA with little balance or cohesion overall, just over-the-top sweetness with a hop bite and alcohol presence; little pleasing aroma, and a thick, coarse mouthfeel. In a nutshell: too much malt and not enough hop. But it sure looks awesome!
