Bottle still gushered on opening.
The taste and mouthfeel are better this go around. The mouthfeel in particular has a bit more character, slightly better carbonation feel on the palate.

Turbid orange colored body; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Decent aroma of fruit and rye spiciness; sweet caramel malt scent. Fruity flavor; sharp bitterness; some rye notes; peppery. Medium-heavy body; rather flat and glassy; lots of residual sugars yet leaves a mostly dry finish.
A so-so beer that seems half-baked at best. And, as seems to be the case with the last eight-to-ten beers I've had from Local Relic, this is another gusher on opening (it doesn't matter how long the bottles sit or are left refrigerated). The rye just seems muted and the beer dull and lifeless overall.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
