Hazy, golden body; billowy, creamy, sculpted head. Initial grassy aroma; old fruit tones; sweet. Harsh bitterness overrides a grapefruit-like base flavor; bare trace of cereal malt flavors way back in the background. Medium body; dry, harsh and acidic.
This beer is 100% Marris Otter malt and 100% Jarrylo hops. It ain't working. I would have expected a richer, fuller bodied beer with a milder, fruity sweetness on the hop side of things. The beer delivers a rather weak bodied, dry and woody flavor and mouthfeel instead. Well, you takes your chances and sometimes you have a winner and at other times you have, if not a failure, a less than stellar result. Much like my home brew experiments...
