Murky, dirty blonde color; thick, soapy head. Wet coffee ground aroma. Coffee flavor with a mere suggestion of vanilla in the mix. Medium-heavy in body; smooth.
This beer was slightly over-carbonated upon opening, but not much beer was lost. The label states the beer was brewed with coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. The coffee makes a bold appearance, but the other ingredients are rather lost in the mix. There is a bit of harshness and too much bitterness in things overall. Any chocolate or malt sweetness (and body) is well-hidden. Okay if bold coffee presence is your thing in beers.
