Ruddy, reddish-hued body; very thick, creamy head; globs of foam along the glass. Pine sap aroma; black cherries; woody. Nutty, malty base flavor with a reined-in element of brett funk; a smidge of caramel and brown ale character. Heavy body with a textured, somewhat sugary quality; mostly dry.
A very fine wild ale that emphasizes the hops and malts more so than the yeast.
