Pitch black body with a thin, wispy, light tan head. Nice aroma of cocoa and earthy chocolates and spices. Cocoa and chili flavors upfront; some mild alcohol presence with a bit of mild sugary sweetness to tame things. Heavy body overall, slick and somewhat watery.
Overall, this is a nice little chili stout. There is nothing new per se yet the balance and depth do bring satisfaction to the taste buds.
