Hazy, peach-colored body; respectable head, dense and creamy. Exquisite aroma of passion fruit, peach, and orange. Nice flavor combination of orange and pineapple mingling with a light sourness. Medium-heavy body; a bit fizzy; somewhat sweet yet leaves a dry feeling at the finish.
A beer that was recommended for drinking on September 26th, 2017 but bottled in September 2016. The label lists it as their first anniversary ale and is bottle number 10 of 51 (talk about limited release!). Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, yet the beer pours nicely, has great eye and nose appeal and actually has a rather mellow citrus and sour medley of flavor going for it. The listed ingredients are: Belgian pils, white wheat, Caramunich, and biscuit malts; aged hops; brettanomyces Lambicus; and fresh passionfruit. Perhaps this one will see another release in the future and wider availability.
