L: Pours a dark reddish purple color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: The rye whiskey hits the nose first followed by hints of caramel, some stone fruit Belgian Candi sugar, a bit of vanilla, aroma comes off rather sweet.
T: Very strong rye whiskey, quite boozy in the taste, followed by molasses, some stone fruit, a bit of Candi sugar. The taste comes off a little boozy and could be a bit more balanced.
F: Large body, oily and slick.
O: Decent but it is a little overly boozy and this is a beer that has sat for 3 years already.
