On tap at the brewery's gastropub in N. California.

The clear, reddish-brown body came topped with a creamy looking, very durable, beige head.

The aroma suggests a sweet porter, and that's what I got. It's almost too sweet, which is what I thought after the 1st sip, but soon found it to be reasonably well balanced.

Dark brown with 9 fingers of beige head.

Smells like coffee, toffee and chocolate.

Tastes like sour chocolate and coffee.

Light body with too much carbonation.

I got this in Mt Shasta City, and am drinking it in Redding, Aug 18, 2020. Possible it’s infected or way too old.

Not sure if I got a bad/expired six pack. Beer was very bitter & sweet. Flavor was not good. Barely drinkable. Very disappointed by why this beer got such good reviews. Maybe better on tap.? Mocha Marlin from Ballast Point Brewery still the best porter out there!

Coffee, chocolate, caramel, nuts, vanilla, bourbon barrel, butter (diacetyl), slight smoke. Very sweet (almost cloying) dessert type porter, not a session beer for me (1 is enough), but enjoyable nonetheless.

Wow... just.... wow
What an amazing porter....
Its expensive for a 64oz growler fill, but i'll be damned if that is not the best port I've ever had!
The macadamia is so subtle that most people didn't even detect it. The vanilla, coffee and chocolate are whats prevalent.
