Brewed to the standard of the Reinheitsgebot - Purity Law. Elevated notes of honey, caramel and toasty malt with a hint of pleasant grassiness and sweet nectar from German Hallertau Tradition hops. Pours dark gold with a fluffy white head. This moreish rich lager has a tailored dry finish with low bitterness for festive fun.

From the Boozebyd Advent Calendar 2022, day 9. Drunk in July 2022.
This one was drunk while cooking dinner, so the notes are perfunctory at best.
L: Golden brown, thin white head, streams of bubbles.
S: Rich, brown bread, tangy malts. Toffee.
T: Very malty, toffee. Quite bitter. Earthy hops. Tangy aftertaste.
F: Quite prickly. Stings on the way down.
O: Even though I drank this while cooking dinner and took pretty ordinary notes, I do know it was a very nice beer!
