Light brown copper color with a thin thick head with good retention.
Predominant aroma of smoked malts, hints of red fruits and mild biscuit.
Flavor with notes of smoked, toasted and caramel malts, herbal and floral hops, mild pine, spices, grains, some chocolate and a bit of plums and raspberries. Very mild red fruits relatively to style. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 6.5% is completely absent.
Not sure I would classify this as a Scotch Ale, but I liked anyway. It had interesting smoked notes with some mild red and dark fruits.
