Nice brewpub in Alpena. Great food and beer. Friendly servers. A little off the beaten path, but easy enough to find. Large assortment of beers to choose from, plus a good selection of styles. Will return.

Visited early on a weekday so it wasn't crowded. Sat at one of the outside tables.Lots of room for outside activities. Inside is kind of small. Small bar and a few tables. Service was great and selection was very good; 26 beers on tap.

Austin Brothers doesn't have to be as good as it is. Not only is it the only game in town as far as brew pubs, it's the only game for several towns.
Bottom line, it's worth it to make the trip to Alpena to visit. The food is fantastic and the brews range from solid to fantastic. If I had a complaint, it's that there was an over abundance of Milkshake/NEIPAs on the brew menu and a dearth of lagers. But that's a nitpicky thing.

Everything about Austin’s is above average. Beer selection and quality are always very good. Best food in the area. Highly recommended.
