Well, I read the previous review about the renovations of the place, but I figured that it's mid-January, so it's been three months, surely they are making beer now. Nope. "We're renovating, so we're not making beer." Crapola. They had a tap selection of about 10 beers, but most of them were macros. Damnit. The bartender was really friendly. Luckily they did have two brews on tap from Yazoo. The kitchen was closed when I was there as well (strange for 8pm on a Thursday?!?). Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I'll probably stop back by if they ever start brewing again, but I didn't enjoy myself on my first visit.

Ok, maybe i'm not fit to review this place. After all, we didn't actually eat or drink anything here. But i consider it my solemn duty to enter a review anyway because people need the latest information when planning their trips.
NOTICE: Market Street Brewery is undergoing "rennovations" and thus isn't brewing any beer right now!
We stopped in after having lunch at Big River. I was going to sample Market Street's beer and my wife was going to have dessert. We walk in, the place looks pretty cool, we sit down at a table and i start rifling through the menu looking for the selection of beers brewed onsite. I find it very odd that they aren't prominently advertised anywhere.
So the waitress walks up and i say "so do y'all have your own beer?" and she says "No. We're undergoing rennovations right now and nothing is being brewed."
Ok. "Sorry," i say, "we came here to try your beer. Maybe some other time." And we leave.
Very disappointing. I live in Alabama, a land with only one (brand new) brewery and three functioning brewpubs, none of which are in my home city of Birmingham. I was looking forward to checking out some good brewpubs in Nashville, and one of the two i visit isn't even brewing right now.
I was so bummed i forgot to ask when they are going to start brewing again. Just be sure you call to find out before you make plans.

An overall average place with slightly above average beers. Nothing overwhelming or noticeable about the surroundings, beer or staff. However, given that I was in the wasteland of LaVergne for a few days, this was definitely nice. Also, every other place I was in, the waitstaff stared at me as an Alien northerner when I asked what local beers they had.
There is a Market Street in the airport. Stay very far away. They have removed the microbrews, replaced them with macros, and have hellishly bad food.
