Bomber . my first offering from this newer brewery from NH. 6 different hops.
A deep amber color, sparse carbonation with a minimal, white froth cap, sticks around.
Mostly citrus hop aroma, very much like a fresh clementine. Very big and sweet malt, smells like candy and caramel amber malt.
Herbal, spice and a big, hot alcohol kick upfront in the taste. Brutally bitter, dry but also juicy feel. The hops come across as big and bitter but the heat enhances this big time. The flavor's do not blend well together, the balance is strange with very extreme flavors playing seperate parts. The malt is huge and too sweet, and sticky residue on my lips, the hops are bold but too bitter and citric for my taste. Some times "going big" doesnt always work.comes across as a monsterous home brew level IPA. I would be pretty excited if I had brewed this, but it certainly does not stand up to most DIPA's in quality or balance. I mean, Hoptomic is a perfect name, a giant, bitter hop bomb with dramaticly sweet malt and even bigger heat. Personally not interested in that approach.
Overall, this is dramatic hop bomb with little balance. Very sweet malt and big heat. Oddball seems to be just about right.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass, not sure when it was bottled. Pours a bright orange with a 1 inch white head that poured a tad flat, but a spots of lace on the glass.
Smell very subdued tangerine, pinapple, grain, and a hint of grapefruit.
Taste has a little more flavor still tangerine, pinapple, may some pine, caramel, and a little grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is less than medium almost creamy, very light carbonation, not dry, and drinks fairly easy.
Overall this isn't bad, just very mild and the lack of carbonation feels out of place. This is a good DIPA for people that are unfamiliar with the style, a very subtle easy drinking beer.

Picked this up at Barb's in Concord today. No date on the bottle but being a new local brewery I thought I would give it a try. It poured a dark orangey brown color into my tulip glass. To dark to be a good start. The nose is bready and very malty. Very little hops in the nose okay I really couldn't find much at all. The taste was about what I expected malty and bready with little hops in the finish. The mouth feel was soft very little carbonation in this bottle even with a very aggressive pour there was about 1/8" of head. I will make it through the bottle so not a total wash out. But not something I'll buy again in the near future.

Bottle from Bert's
Deep golden bordering on amber with a stingy off white head that shows average retention. Big bready caramel maltiness with hints of toffee. Earthy spicy citrus hoppiness. Quite sweet for a double IPA and lacking a lot in hop aroma and flavor.

From the 650 ml. bottle that was bottled on December 23, 2015. Sampled on December 23, 2015 so this is about as fresh as it gets.
The pour is a milky copper-amber with little to no head but the head that does show up lingers for a little while.
The aroma is vibrant and brings out esters of pine, citrus, orange, apple, and a touch of grainy sweetness. No alcohol aroma.
Medium to better than medium body with a smooth texture.
The taste tends to lean on the sweet side with a touch of apple but after a moment the citrus and pine flavors roar in and this becomes very bitter at the finish. The bitterness is biting and lingers. It's a decent DIPA but could use a little more TLC for the next batch.
