Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy bright copper color with a finger of white head. The head leaves a crown of lacing before settling into a ghostly thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of pears and peaches, some apricot and cracked pepper.
The flavor brings notes of bready malt and yeast, as well as bananas and canned peaches.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and smooth. A bit oily.
Overall, a decent if unexciting beer. I didn't expect the flavors I'm getting considering this is labeled as an IPA, but it isn't terrible. Not something I'd pick up again, however.

Got a growler from the good Oddball folks at the Bacon and Beer Fest in May....
My sample is a bright, copper color, and very clear. Has hardly any head, though, and negligible lacing. The nose is quite fruity, with tangerine and apricot holding court. It is pretty smooth overall, but a touch on the thinner side.
Flavor is slightly toasty leading off. Then it gets hoppy fast. Has some tangerine but it is rather muted. Also in the mix are some rindy, pithy notes, a hint of pear, and mild banana action. The finish is quite dry and crisp. Not bad, all in all.... Prosit!

From the 650 ml. bottle dated 5-11-16. Sampled on June 4, 2016.
Hazy, unfiltered yellow, heady pour.
The aroma is toasted bread, banana, pear, light spice and earth.
Medium or better body.
Like the aroma- the taste brings out an essence of banana and pear with the toasted character less forward. Mild bitterness to finish. Decently balanced.

Bottle from Bert's
Hazy light golden color with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head. Banana and citrus on the nose with bits of sweet bread malt and a hint of spice. Sweet cereal bready maltiness with lots of banana flavors. Light pine and citrus hops with just a touch of earth and spice to round it out nicely. Wow thats a pretty damn good beer.
