Bottle from a Lazy Dog
Slightly hazy deep straw color with a decent but short lived bubbly white head. Light honey malt big clove on the nose. Faint earth. The flavor is sweet bready honey maltiness, some warming alcohol, bits of clove and some light earthy funk. Decent beer, clean well made, But it seems like its in a transition between clean triple and brett infused. It either needs more brett character or none at all. I might pick up another bottle because I'm quite curious how this one would age.

From the growler obtained at the brewery on November 20, 2016. Released on November 18, 2016. Happy first anniversary to my hometown brewery. This is a Belgian style Triple brewed with brettanomyces.
The pour is a slightly cloudy yellow tone with a kind of olive look to it too. Small white head.
The aroma is toasted bread, a slightly lemonzest note, pale malts, and of course Brett! No booze for 10.5% and a low hop profile.
Smooth medium body.
The Brett is found in the flavor too but it is downplayed compared to some in favor of a clean and toasted malt and bread presence and a mild herbal finish. Only available in New Hampshire.
