16 oz can into a chalice.
Pours a hazy amber gold color with a small off-white head. Little retention. Leaves a ring of lacing around the glass.
Aromas of bready malts, bubblegum, caramel, and very faint pear.
The flavor brings notes of bread, caramel, Belgian yeast, and booze. Some lighter notes of pear and clove.
The feel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Sticky. Extremely boozy.
Overall, this is a pretty "meh" Tripel. It's not bad, there's just not a whole lot going on flavor-wise, not to mention it's boozy as hell. Wouldn't really recommend.

16oz can from a Lazy dog
Lightly hazy deep gold in color. Frothy white head shows moderate retention. Sweet bready light caramel maltiness. Somewhat sweet with some clove and light alcohol to counter.

From a 16 oz. can acquired at the brewery on July 19, 2019. Sampled the same day.
It has a handsome looking copper-amber color with little to no head, generally opaque, and yellow hues in the light.
Pleasant aroma of Belgian candied malts, caramel malts, Belgian yeast, apple, pear, and a little coriander. Low to no hop profile. Low booze profile for 10.5%.
Medium to full mouthfeel.
Sweet maltiness is the immediate flavor sensation with a hint of more alcohol here and a meaty fruit background. Mild, nearly invisible bitterness. Warming.
