I was thinking, could the english pale ale be the least exciting style of beer? Perhaps. So it caught my attention when I sipped on this one and found it to have some complexity and some really forward thinking flavors. Plenty of citrus to go with the pale hops and malts. That being said the finish had a metallic aftertaste that really sour me on the total beer. But still, better than most in the style I have had.
