A: Pours a slightly murky deep dark purplish red in color (exactly what you would expect if you mashed up a bunch of blueberries) with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate purple + garnet red + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense fizzy foamy dark pinkish purplish head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering about 75% of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of slightly tart slightly sweet fresh blueberries with a light to moderate aroma of lacto + brett earthy funkiness with a hint of oak.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat + oats + bready malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. Moderate flavors of earthy funkiness from the brett + lacto sourness. Slightly stronger than moderate flavors of slightly tart slightly sweet fresh blueberries with a light amount of lingering tartness in the finish.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: This is really good, possibly the best blueberry sour that I have ever experienced. A great combination of sour/tart flavors combined with fresh blueberries. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.

Had on tap. Might be the best blueberry sour I have ever had. Certainly in the running. The taste is like putting you face in the basket full of fresh picked blueberries. The smell could be a little more full, but even in its faintness it is enough to be good
