Brewed with local Riverbend malt and fermented with a mixed culture. Dry hopped with a ridiculous 5# per barrel of Galaxy/Vic Secret/Citra/Amarillo. The aroma pops with overripe peaches and pineapple, sour but not too sour.

Had poured from 750-ml. corked-and-caged bomber, muled back from North Carolina by the ‘ol ball and chain, into tulip.

I had high hopes for this mixed-culture, double-fermented beer, as I’ve enjoyed a fair number of dry-hopped sours, and it comes in a promising bottle. But it’s not funky, tart, or hoppy enough for today’s craft beer world. Drink with baked fish or chicken.

Lightly hazed straw with a moderate fluffy pure white head. Aromas of peach candy, dried pineapple chunks, and lemon juice. Smooth, easy drinking - not as sour as expected. Blood orange, pineapple, and apricot sourness cut by hay bales and peppery, grassy herbs. Slick medium body with a good amount of tart dryness on the tongue.
