Three and a half years in the making, this is a blend of select one, two and three year old barrel aged sour beer. The beer was fermented with 100% coolship sourced wild culture from the Asheville air, no other yeast was added.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy goldenstraw with a massive head; decent retention with clumps of lace left behind

Smell: Peach and grapefruit buttressed by lemon and oak; a degree of funk

Taste: Complex lemon funk forward with peach and then grapefruit emerging; pith, funk and sour elements intermingle, after the swallow, to create oaky complexity

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; a real Belgian feel

Overall: If this is not the best American Geuze I have tasted, it is right there in the top echelon; I'm kinda blue I likely won't get another taste of it
