Picked up a bottle directly at the brewery taproom 7-8-22 for $11.00. 2022 bottling consumed 10-20-22.
Beer poured clear gold with an okay white head.
Nose is inoculated very nicely with horse blanket and citrus.
Taste is a substantial but lighter pale malt base that is horse blanket and barnyard forward with a blast of citrus and finishes nicely resiny; 8/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall such a wonderful beer, wish i had picked up a few more bottles of this but regrettably its likely a one and done!

Appearance: Arrives a clear golden color with a one finger head; shards of lacing are left behind
Smell: Funk and resin along with a sweeter floral tinge
Taste: Funky bitterness forward with floral undertones adding a lively, sweeter element; an assertive lemon rind bitterness, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: If modern IPAs tasted like this the style would create the legroom for a lot more variety from our brewers
