Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a one finger head that leaves a few shards
Smell: Slightly roasted with brown sugar and spice cake tones
Taste: The flavor profile presents with a slightly roasted biscuity flavor with the brown sugar and spice cake tones adding sweetness; after the swallow, a moderate bitterness kicks in with the sweeter elements merging into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: Easily the best Altbier I have tasted from a domestic craft brewer and compares favorable with Uerige's Sticke
