Tap at the brewery
Nice foamy fizzy head with a bit of lacing, semi hazy golden honey color
Nose big malt, gristy doughy wheat like malt, blond malt, mild phenol spices, golden corn, golden malt
Taste big malts again, blond and golden malts, toasted gristy, little wheat, little golden corn and maize like, touch of booze warmth and phenol spices, hint of fruity esters golden apple.
Mouth is med bod, little alcohol, fluffy carb
Overall not bad, a little off from typical style, less the phenols and esters, little too golden malt, but alcohol hidden well. Not a bad beer, just doesn't hit the points I expected as much a the others I've tried from them
