Poured out a hazy amber color with a one-finger off-white head of foam. Sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of cracked wheat, yeast and caramel. With a touch of banana and clove. It led with banana followed by wheat and yeastiness. Nice toasted malt backbone, too. It was crisp and smooth. A medium bodied ale.
