12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of mango, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of mango, passion fruit, lemon, citrus/pine hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big mango, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mango, melon, lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of mango, passion fruit, lemon, citrus/pine hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected 4.9%. Overall this is a very good fruited session IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of mango, passion fruit, lemon, citrus/pine hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the moderately bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery feeling for the ABV. Well balanced juicy fruits and dank citrus/piney hop flavors; with a solid pale malt backbone. Some over carbonation, but it helped with the drinkability overall. A very enjoyable offering.

Great light session ale with hints of summer. Mango very light and subtle which helps round out the beer.

Ordered four beers during my first visit to Scenic. Two of those, including this one were unmistakably infected. Grotesque.
