Look: honey color, with a peach colored head
Smell: pine, hop,
Taste: bitter, papaya/grapefruit flavor? (There's a sweet fruit flavor with the grapefruit rind taste), pine
Feel: medium
Overall: interesting. But in a weird way. Not good/not bad

With so many great IPAs out there now there is no reason to drink ordinary beers any longer. Appropriately bitter but not very aromatic. Some judicious dry hopping might make it better. Just not a great beer, in my book. I dare someone to drink say, an Art Car and then try to get through one of these.

Not good. Vigorous pour leaves me with almost no head and absolutely no lacing. The look is unattractive, dark yellow and murky. Nice nose but the taste is malty and old tasting. bottom of the can says it was caned mid October, and being in a can I expect it to still taste fresh. Back Pew just isn't putting out quality beers and this will prob be my last from them.

Poured from tap into glass jar, 1 finger off white head soso retention great lacing. Dark amberish golden in the glass, clear with slight chill haze. Smells of caramel, resinous pine. Taste initially of caramel, some pine then the Idaho hop shows thru, not one of my favorite hops, but it is assertive. Some lemongrass and spiciness in the middle and a nice semi bitter finish

Pours a cloudy amber color with a finger width foamy head. Retention is decent. Lacing is good. More of a malty aroma, some caramel. Piney resin and very mild citrus. Malty taste is strong. Mild caramel. Very bitter piney resin and very mild citrus at end. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Available as of 1/22/17 HEB bunker hill and I10
Dark golden color, two finger pale/beige foam head
Medium body, smooth finish
Lots of alcohol notes on the finish despite being only 7.2% threw this off for me, but overall do not regret picking up a growler of this brew. Great APA style beer
