This is a hoppy wheat ale, brewed with two fantastic German hops: Hallertau Blanc and Melon, all in the whirlpool to pull the great pineapple and Sauvignon Blanc character out of the hops. The beer is fermented out highly, leaving little wheat flavor on the pallet, and then we dry hop the beer for a pleasant aroma.

Canned exactly one month ago. 02/13/20
Looks very hazy, dark gold, not bad but not appealing either.
Smells of pineapple and vanilla.
Taste is very luscious, pineapple, almost a whipped cream aspect, not as much vanilla as in the smell. Very easy drinking, this tastes outstanding. I cannot explain the other less favorable reviews. I don’t like “fruity” sweet beers and I guess since this isn’t actually sweet is why I like it so much.
There is a “perceived” sweetness but it’s not really very sweet. The mouthfeel is medium and I’d call it semi dry.
I’ve had their Pilsner and thought it was one of the best American examples of a Bavarian pils I’ve ever had.
This is a very well made beer.

Canned 2/20. Opened 3/10
Pours a murky grey/purple. Clearly oxidized.
Nose is a nice pineapple, citrus fruit.
Taste again shows the oxidization. A touch of pineapple upfront but then fades to a sweet, lightly tart sherry quality.

Not that good. Murky yellow with a grayish hint. Not very appealing. The nose is the best part of the beer due to the dry hopping. They need a better base beer to work with.
