Thanks to lookrider for this 16 oz. can that arrived as an extra recently.
The pour is a fairly clear orange with visible carbonation that vanishes within moments to a dead, flat, quiet color. The nose is doused in apricot: nothing else penetrates.
Swipe Ripe sounds like a dating app for people who don’t bathe regularly. It makes me uncomfortable. The beer is like bathing in apricot puree – so much apricot. There are other gentle touches:sweetened grapefruit, lemon, with a finish of bitter pine. The lack of carbonation makes it too heavy, but the lovely combo of fruit, sweetness, & bitterness makes sixteen ounces the appropriate serving size.
A good beer that would rise a notch or two with a proper amount of carbonation. Rookie mistake.

Canned 9/20/19, consumed 10/19/19. Clear honey-orange with an insignificant off-white head, a lotta tiny bubbles, no retention or lacing. Other reviews have described as hazy, not so here.
Aroma is a blend of apricot, pine and citrus.
Tangy apricot is the predominant flavor, followed by orange, lemon, pine, sour candy, tropical fruit, subtle herbal notes. The finish is piney, resiny, and grapefruit bitter.
This is light and sharp in the mouth, with a tingly carbonation that greatly complements the flavors.
A very well done fruity IPA. I was expecting more of a hazy New England style IPA, but this seems to lean more West Coast IPA, both in appearance and hop flavors. Would buy again, it's very good.

16 oz can was poured into a Spiegelau glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale yellow color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.
Smell: Apricot, peach, stone fruit, caramel, and biscuity malts.
Taste: I'm getting that nice apricot, peach, candied stone fruit flavor followed by caramel, biscuity malts and slight alcohol notes.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, crisp, refreshing, medium carbonation, and light bitterness.
Overall: Nice apricot DIPA. So smooth and delicious.

16oz tallboy can, sample from a friend.
Hazy peachy look to this beer, ample head and great lacing. Thick piney hop resin and some ripe stone fruit in the nose, pungent and all up in my grill. Juicy from the apricots, a bit tart from them as well. Smooth and crips with a slightly chewy body. Pungent and bitter, with rind and pit with an faint melon tone in the middle. Warming but does not show the 9% until several sips in. A smooth operator. Some grain deep down in, hops and apricot are the show here. For a fruited IPA this really works and I don't say that often.
