It's no secret that we love the Columbus hop; it's in nearly every beer we brew. Citrusy, earthy, and spicy with a hint of dankness, Columbus is everything and more, yet it never gets the recognition it deserves. We're changing that with Columbus Day, our toast to the unsung hero of the brew house.

Moderate, bar-poured head. Leaves excellent fine lace on the glass. Golden color with a definitive haze.
Prickly and citrusy smell dominates.
Brief and nondescript pale malt start. The hop is very strong, beyond my expectations for an IPA much less a pale ale. Full bodied with a lightly high carbonation level. Overall, this is a hop lovers pale ale.
