L - Pitch black. Ruby red edges. Finger of off-white head
S - Muted dark fruits and coffee, some tobacco and wood
T - Follows the nose with subtle coffee and oak. Dark fruits start to pop. Bitter hop character
F - Satisfactory body. Might be a tad thin. No alcohol.
O - Solid, but massive RIS. Letting it sit for a year took away from the flavor, but still good for the style.

It pours jet black with a thin creamy disappearing head
The aroma is roasted nuts, coffee, and chocolate. Roasted almonds are the prevailing aroma
It has a medium fullness and a medium carbonation type of mouth feel
The roasted almond and nut taste is up front but not overwhelming, there is a slight bitterness and alcohol finish. It’s pretty smooth and balanced
Overall it’s a well made stout, tasty and easy drinking. I’d like to see them bring it back.

Pours a dark, dark brown color with a finger of khaki head. The head is gone quickly but settles into nice creamy film that rests atop the beer.
The aroma brings tons of dark roasted malts, chocolate, and some subtle roasted nuts.
The taste brings a lot more nutty, almond-like flavors than the nose lead on. Dark malts and chocolate sit on the middle of the palate, before the finish brings a kiss of piney hops.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. There's some lingering bitterness and alcohol warmth on the tongue.
Overall, a pretty good imperial stout. There is absolutely nothing that stands out about it, but it's well made and surprisingly drinkable.
