Cloudy to the point of muddy, giving the beer a tan dirt look. The head lasts throughout the tasting, leaving small spots and streaks on the glass.
Creamy, with a bit of corn to the nose. Mostly pale malt aroma with zero grain. After letting the head settle for a minute, I get the strong earthy aroma from the Simcoe hops. It is more balanced at this point.
The hop dominates but doesn't overwhelm. The pale malt base is nondescript but present. The body is neutral as is the carbonation, in a word, predictable. This is the tale of the bittering finish. Remarkably, the aftertaste lingers but not in a harsh way. A hop lover's beer.

Wanted to go to Trillium, but it was too packed. Headed to Castle Island, craving a NE IPA and this did not disappoint. Hazy and crisp with a juicy wet flavor and nice lacing throughout. Highly recommended
