Canned 2/08/19
Pours a light fizzy head no retention, semi hazy copper ruby colour, needs more proteins for head and could use more clarifying
Nose sweet toasty reddish malt and caramel notes, sweet malts and little candy like, spicy earthy hops,
Taste sweet candy malts, toasty reddish malt little biscuity and caramel, medium to lighter hop bitterness but little fruity and floral spicy, good balance between the two, a little drier finish but mild sticky sweet medium bitterness
Mouth is med bodied, light carb
Overall mixed, it's a decent amber red ale with good malt and hop balance, but needs more carb

Very brown but nice thinner amber highlight on edge of glass. Brown bread and some light caramel on the nose. Balanced by a herbally and grassy whiffs. Taste has an almost nutty malt roast up front with a pleasant subtle bitterness from hops. Clean and almost crispy finish, which is welcome on a malt forward, almost sweet taste. Really well constructed, balanced beer.
