Murky cloudy. Small head which leaves a small band of lace with only an occasional spot thereafter.
Semisweet aroma of pale malt followed by some grapefruit rind and grass. Oddly, I get some background cotton candy.
Juicy, semisweet malt beginning. This gives way to a biting hop pellet bitterness -- nothing too complex but definitely a NE IPA. The mouthfeel is typical for the style. Long, bitter aftertaste.

Well balanced, fruity, rich, attractive nose, dense hazy gold color. Not the usual taste profile for Castle Island IPAs, a very nice change and a step forward from their already good offerings. Worth a try if you can find it.

Hazy, opaque, orange golden in color, white head, some lacing. Well rounded fruity hop aroma. Taste is similar, heavy on mango. On the sweeter side. Fuller bodied.
